Grandma's experience
Comments about Hudson 82w 20d 29h Four-Door Media Cabinet with Steel Base
I have a home filled with amazingly beautiful Room and Board furniture. I've had pieces for years with no problems. This item; however, was most disappointing. The cabinet had to be returned the first time due to poor craftmanship. It looked like the wood slats were placed in strips making it looked striped. The wood actually cracked on the top left about 8 inches after just 1 year. It was replaced and while the replacement (same item) was better, it looked striped also. It is difficult to open because the handles are too tiny to grasp for the amount of effort needed to pull it open.
Great! Men who delivered were polite and most helpful

Great warm walnut media console
Comments about Hudson 72w 16d 24h 2-Door/2-Drawer Media Cabinet with Steel Base
Bought this for our master bedroom for below a 65" tv. The 72" size is perfect with the 16" depth. Substantial but not too heavy. Was a bit worried the walnut would be a cool but is more neutral/warm. The door sticks just a smidge but expecting it'll loosen up over time. #sweepstakes
As always, R&B did a great job on shipping and communication.

Stain fades away very fast
Comments about Hudson 60w 16d 24h Media Cabinet with Steel Base
We ordered the Walnut and within 2 years patches of stain faded away. The issues is that it fades away very unevenly. It's well built, but just don't buy the walnut.
Merchant Response
Thank you for sharing your concerns. Your cabinet is made from solid walnut wood and is not a stained piece, only a clear lacquer over natural wood. The wood does appear very dry in that area and could benefit from an application of Howard Products Feed-N-Wax Wood Polish.

Another beautiful piece of furniture from Room and Board
Comments about Hudson 82w 20d 24h Media Cabinet with Steel Base
As with all the furniture I have purchased from Room and Board, the craftsmanship is superb. The maple wood with shell stain is beautiful. There is ample storage in the cabinets and drawers. The piece is sleek and modern and is the perfect console for our new 75 inch TV. I couldn't be more pleased with our purchase!

My favorite purchase!
Comments about Hudson 72w 16d 24h 2-Door/2-Drawer Media Cabinet with Steel Base
We had the design team furnish our new apartment and this is my favorite piece. It has wonderful storage space, and it's sturdy enough to hold a very large TV (83 inches!)
The set up team did an excellent job setting all our pieces up!

Impeccable craftsmanship
Comments about Hudson 72w 16d 24h 2-Door/1-Drawer Media Cabinet with Wood Base
We already knew we loved R&B but this was our first non-upholstered item and we were and continue to be so impressed with the quality of craftsmanship. Truly, so clear why it's worth it to pay extra for pieces that will last. The wood gorgeous, the hinges and quiet close drawers are perfect, the design is beautiful. #sweepstakes
