Palm

I sat in these chairs in the DC showroom and the NYC showroom before purchasing. They were very comfortable and went ahead and purchased 3 for my screened in porch. They were delivered and they look terrific. They have a sleek look, and I love the stocked color for our porch, but they sit very, very hard. I called Room and Board and they told me that the chairs need to be broken in, and that one way to expedite that is to stand on the pillow cushions.

We found other R&B chairs we loved for our screen porch, but decided to measure against the construction drawings to make sure everything would fit. WOW, we would have been upset because our first choice would have eliminated all walkways. Enter the Palm Chair - perfect clean lines and dimensions, very comfortable seating and a must: it fits a cat next to you.

These chairs look fantastic and are comfortable. Unlike their matching loveseat, the inner base of the chair does not drain. Rainwater puddles in the bottom of the chair instead of draining out and must be manually shifted to drain the water.

We needed a heavy chair to stand up to the Chicago winds and this perfect! The navy gets a little dusty so you'll need to vacuum (dust buster works) it periodically. We purchased this chair in navy to compliment the palm couch in pink.

This chair is super comfy, but nearly impossible to clean. It looks amazing, along with another chair and the sofa sectional. But, it's utterly high maintenance to care for. Even the morning dew (natural water) stains them, not to mention the gardener, and anything the wind might blow it. Room and Board sent over a lovely expert, who showed me how to get rid of the stains with a cotton cloth, a nubuck shoe brush, an eraser and a blow dryer. Not kidding. It looks impressive but is super challenging to take care of.
