Freedom
The Humanscale® Freedom office chair is our most advanced option because it is so simple to use and offers a comfortable, customized sit. It moves with you throughout the day, adjusting with your body as you shift your weight and position. The armrests move in tandem to eliminate uneven arm positioning. Enjoy support from the headrest that features five inches of height adjustment to promote healthy posture. Additional lumbar support comes from Freedom's tri-panel backrest that naturally cradles your back without having to adjust using knobs and levers.

Armrest Failed After Less Than 3 Years
Comments about Freedom® Headrest Office Chair
I expected much better durability from a $1,300+ office chair. After less than three years of normal use, the plastic housing around the armrest hinge has cracked and broken, making the armrest unstable and unusable.
The rest of the chair is still functional, but a structural failure of the armrest is disappointing for a premium office chair at this price point. I hope Room & Board stands behind the product and provides a proper warranty repair or replacement, but the failure itself is unacceptable.

Tried out this chair in-person at the SF location. Sales rep was polite and very helpful. Even though she didn't know the product well, she was willing to spend time to get the answers. SPEEDY Delivery, well packaged. Love this product! Exceeded my expectations

Excellent quality!
Comments about Freedom® Headrest Office Chair
This chair is fantastic! It has all the right adjustments, and the headrest moves with you as you recline to comfort the neck in the correct position. I love that the arms move all the way down and out of the way.
I would definitely purchase this again and have recommended it to others.
The chair arrived in two days. Excellent customer service is always received from Nancy at Room and Board!

Our second Freedom chair!
Comments about Freedom® Headrest Office Chair
This is our second Freedom headrest chair. The first one quite simply spoiled us for any other chair. Both my husband and I have hybrid work schedules and bad backs. It's absolutely essential that we have comfortable, functional home work stations. This chair is the centerpiece of that.
Excellent. Room & Board may have the best delivery service of any furniture retailer. Never a problem, always clear, reliable and even pleasant!

Makes Working at Home Comfortable
Comments about Freedom® Headrest Office Chair
This is a very comfortable work chair that stays comfortable through a workday. It's relatively sleek and it moves with you as you lean backwards or forward. Much less clunky than the Aeron and similar chairs, and much simpler to adjust. I do wish the arms would adjust to a higher position because my work surface is a little higher than is ideal.
The box arrived in poor, beat-up condition with big holes in it. It had also been opened and taped back together. Fortunately, the contents were well packaged and not damaged.
