Monitor Riser Shelves

This monitor riser looks really cool (the subtle weld marks on the steel are awesome), is made of great materials, and is super thin. Also made in the US! Very practical and has sufficient storage underneath for peripherals, audio gear, etc. However there's one design flaw for the 36w riser that I had to DIY a remedy for: it bows in the middle with very slight pressure, including one or two monitors. This causes monitors to be noticeably not level on a desk, which matters to people who work on their computers and don't want slanted text. I fixed this by buying some inexpensive wooden blocks and a folded up piece of paper to act as a center support. This could be fixed if Room and Board used thicker steel or added its own center support—they could even send wooden blocks with the stand (3x 1" cubes) to help people with this issue. I love the metal and high quality finish of this riser. It's a great height, and provides additional space for storage underneath. #sweepstakes

This monitor stand is sturdy, large enough for a big monitor, and fits well aesthetically with my wood desk. Very happy with it!

The riser really helped organize my desk. It is well made and can support 2 heavy monitors. #sweepstakes

We ordered the 36" natural steel riser and it's exactly what we hoped. Sturdy, nicely finished edges and corners, so far a durable powder coat that hasn't scratched. We also like that it's made in the Midwest.

I ordered this to go with my Parsons desk that I've had for more than 10 years, and it works perfectly and looks really nice and has made my remote-working setup so much better!

This product looks very nice on my desk that is also from Room & Board. The product is very well made and sturdy for the most part. I have a heavy monitor on the middle, which makes the riser bow, but I have solved this by placing books underneath the middle section. This product gets dusty very quickly and shows it a lot, but it's very easy to wipe off. I love this product and have no regrets buying it.

High-quality riser used to elevate TV. Worked perfectly!

Yes, this is a simple monitor shelf but being metal it is exceptionally sturdy and nice looking. The color is the same as the black steel table legs and since I'm using one of those for my desk it makes for a great coordinating set. The shelf gets my monitors up at the right height... and gives me some additional space on my desk where I can shove my Wacom tablet and misc other things away from the main desk surface.

This product is perfect for what I was looking for. Sleek, strong, great looking finish. After receiving it, I purchased a second one i liked it so much.
