Hudson

Absolutely beautiful, high-quality desk! It is spacious, comfortable, and very well designed. I absolutely love it! It has completely transformed the atmosphere of the room, making the space feel more elegant and inviting. I couldn't be happier with my purchase!

Beautiful desk that was assembled incorrectly: horizontal stabilizing bar on base ran through the foot well instead of across the back of the desk (see photo). Steel base had to be removed by delivery associate, flipped around, and reassembled (with help from customer). In addition, there are some drip marks on the finish (see photo), which does not meet expectations for a R+B piece that costs north of $3k.

Looks much more expensive than the actual cost with rich wood and quaint stainless steel puls

I love the clean lines and minimalist look. I retired and did not need a hug desk and credenza for my future use. This desk perfectly fits my large screen, a laptop, a lamp and a couple of photos. The three drawers hold all I need. In fact, I put the wireless keyboard and mouse in one of the drawers when not being used.

I've owned three R&B desks, and many pieces of bedroom, living, and dining room furniture; most of it of high quality and beautiful appearance. I write this review today to callout a problem with two finishes used by R&B for their office desks: Walnut, and Shell. While I own walnut and shell stained furniture in other areas of the house, including bedroom side tables, dressers and beam shelving units, these finishes fail when used as options for desks. Both finishes had issues whereby the finish wore off, chipped and dulled from normal use. The problem is that they do not properly apply top coats that create a strong enough finish for desk use, and I will quite clearly add, that this exact statement was indicated by their service company in Dallas. I'm happy to say that R&B has stood behind these issues and offered to replace the defective desk tops, but they continue to offer these finishes. While I have had no trouble with either finish in the may other pieces of furniture I own, they fail as desk finishes, and R&B should stop offering them as desk finish options. I also own the spalted sugarberry finish on an L-shaped desk from R&B - it has zero issues with the finish, and has been cared for in exactly the same manner as the other desk finishes, ie, gentle occasional cleaning with no heavy oils, etc. If you're considering purchasing a desk from R&B, steer clear of these two finishes - they will fail, and you will be disappointed.

The desk looks spectacular in my new office. The cherry is gorgeous!

We have 2 computer systems set up on this desk! It is located in our dinning space and the sleek design does not make it feel over crowded. The drawers are perfect for office supplies too!

Sturdy desk with enough storage for my needs. Large workspace. I would buy this again.

Beautiful sturdy, hard wood white oak desk with modern finishes. Functional and sleek and goes well with the white oak bookshelf we purchased as well

This was my second Hudson desk that I purchased from R&B. It was a larger desk, and unfortunately, the quality of the item did not meet my expectations. There were scratches on the desk's surface, and the finish was generally not excellent. The paint on he edges has already started to fade, and there are imperfections everywhere.
