Reese

This is a mid-century vibe of a sofa that is well made and proportional for those who want both good back support and the ability to lounge on it. The upholstery is a thick fabric that is holding up nicely and is stitched well. The details of the sloped arms and the buttons are lovely. This has really changed our living room for the better.

We like a firm sofa and this meets our needs. It is the right depth and the right firmness and it looks great!

Regrettably I must agree with IH8Room and Board's 1 star review about the Reese line. We purchased an extremely expensive leather sectional because we liked the Reese's firm seating. Within a short time, one of the seat buttons popped out. Someone was sent twice to repair it. Then a second button popped out and Room and Board's repair service will hopefully fix it tomorrow. We have purchased furniture from Room and Board in the past (wooden furniture-not couches) and are extremely disappointed and frankly feel ripped off based on our experience with this purchase. Surely the company understands that this is a design flaw. The buttons popped out only in areas where I sit, which is ridiculous. I hope that the company's management reads these comments and that I'll be able to work with someone to remedy this situation so that we have a usable sectional couch. I respect the company and I am confident they will rectify this situation.

I chose the Reese 85" sofa and chaise because my living room is quite small and my existing sofa was overwhelming it. This is an extremely well made product. It looks great and I like the firmness of the cushions and that it is chair height. The only negative aspect is that the sofa tilts back a little. The frame itself is level but the front bumper underneath the cushions raise the cushions a little, creating a leaning back effect. I remedied this with a rolled blanket underneath the backside of the cushion area, so all is well.

I love this sectional. I wanted a tight back with no pillows that I constantly had to plump up and move around. This is a bit shallower which works well for me at 5'5", my feet touch the ground and I don't slouch. The button seat cushion holds its shape, no fanny sink spots. I wish it came a bit larger but I am happy with its construction, very pleased with delivery and the wide choice of fabrics which they sample for free. It's very difficult to find a furniture company as well respected as Room and Board. They do excellent pieces and stand behind their products. I am an interior designer in my 70's and I trust them implicitly.

We love our new sectional!

This couch was exactly what I was looking for to finish my MCM living room. The fabric is amazing and it is very comfortable. So glad I found this gem!

We were able to create a Reese sectional that fits our smaller living room perfectly. The design help at Room&Board was invaluable in figuring out the ideal configuration. Reese is firm and comfortable and looks stunning.

We had a specific spot in our living room that felt like an awkward "hole," and we weren't sure what would look right there. This armless Reese sofa ended up being the ultimate solution. Because we have so many Room & Board pieces in our home, we trusted the quality enough to buy it entirely sight unseen. It paid off completely. The gray and white patterned fabric is stunning, and the armless silhouette keeps the room feeling open while perfectly complementing everything else in the space. We could not be happier with how it brought the whole room together!

There are inexplicably buttons on the seat cushions. When a person sits on the cushion, exactly as intended, the buttons protrude from their holes and get hung up on clothing and even the cushion itself. I bought this couch and one of the buttons popped off in UNDER TWO WEEKS of very light use. Two adults sitting a few hours per day after work. Didn't even get a chance to have company over before the couch was damaged! Unreal. Dumb design, no wonder it got damaged so easily. Wouldn't recommend this couch to my worst enemy.
