Soren

Sweepstakes #153 Beautiful chair with excellent craftsmanship. The wood finish is smooth and high quality, and the curved back is both comfortable and stylish. It feels sturdy without looking bulky, making it a perfect accent chair for a bedroom, office, or reading nook. I'm very pleased with the purchase and think it looks even better in person.

The Soren lounge chair is a beautiful well-crafted chair that is surprisingly comfortable given that it is all wood with no cushioning.

This chair is really comfortable, I'm surprised how comfortable it is considering it's not upholstered. The wood feels very nicely sanded and smooth and it has a very solid feel to it. I love how it looks in our living room and I like that with a fun accept pillow it can be changed to give it a little color, unlike something upholstered where you're stuck with it #sweepstakes

Bought two for extra seating across from our sofa. They are surprisingly comfortable with the pad and the charcoal stain is gorgeous!

This is a very nice chair for a small space and comfortable enough.

Theses are the best chairs in the house. I spend so much time in them. I have 4 of the them.

Ordered the Soren Lounge Chair because I needed seating in a refreshed bedroom, but it had to be smaller so as to not overwhelm the room, and since it sits in a sunny window, not an upholstered chair whose fabric would eventually be bleached by the Sun. The Soren, which I ordered in cherry wood, is lovely and seemingly well-made. And it also has the "modern" look I was after to complement a lovely old chestnut wood antique cabinet in the same room. Yes, I am aware that the Sun will also quickly change the color of cherry wood, but I'll enjoy seeing that play-out. I've also covered a great deal of the seat and back with a lovely long-haired sheepskin from Canada, which adds to its "modern" look while at the same time, offers some protection from sunlight. I try to buy quality products for my home, and items that will last. I don't mind paying more for that, and especially seek out American-made quality handicrafts and furniture when I can find them, which is why I'm a repeat customer of Room & Board. I appreciate that the Soren is made in Vermont, of American hardwood. I did notice a slight wobble when I received the chair and placed it on a hardwood floor, as if one leg must be a fraction shorter or perhaps the wood cured or something, but it's not noticeable or an issue where I placed it permanently in the bedroom, on a berber-carpeted floor. I imagine a small felt stick-on furniture pad or even something smaller would fix the wobble. To me, it reminds me that it was handmade, which I appreciate.

Beautiful accent chair. Looks great in our midcentury-ish living room, but contemporary enough to blend with a variety of styles. Have gotten many compliments since it arrived! #sweepstakes

GREAT CHAIR!

These chairs are an elegant addition to our small family room. They provide functional additional seating without taking up a lot of space. It's also great that they are easily portable and can be relocated to a different room if needed.
