I ordered the bunk bed for my children who share a room, going with the Low Bunk Bed due to our 8 foot ceilings. The top bunk bed is a great height, and leaves plenty of room for the ceiling (I am 5' 6" and can sit on the top bunk with room to spare) - no danger of the kids hitting their heads on the ceiling. The lower bunk is just off the ground, so a great choice for a kiddo transitioning from a toddler bed. The construction is very solid, no squeaking or shaking, and I'm confident this will be a great flex sleeping space as the kids age. #sweepstakes

The bed itself is solid and stable for our 2 six year old Grands. The ladder is sturdy at least for kids. The safety railing is another story. If someone jumped up and grabbed it , could definitely tear/bend break away. Making the beds is easier than vertical end slats but still a bit of a challenge.

It's so simple and modern. Goes well with everything. My kids love the bed. Also we have low ceiling in kids room. And we chose low bunk bed, it definitely doesn't feel "squeezed" in the room. Really nice bed!

Perfect bunks for our young kids, but feel sturdy to support them as they grow. Like the simplicity of the design.

I shopped around a lot to find a simple, durable, solid wood bunk bed. This is definitely that. My kids (4,6) really like it and it seems safe. There are some problems though. First, the assembly seemed like a pain. It took the delivery guys several hours. I was expecting this to fly up and am dreading the day when I have to take it apart. Second, the top rails are loose by design. The delivery crew offered to screw them in to secure them which was kind, and it works. I'm surprised that they had to do this and the rails still have quite a bit of play to them. Third, and most important, the ladder is poorly designed. I didn't notice before purchasing: the ladder doesn't hang like it does on most bunk bed designs. Instead it has a fork on the bottom that sits on a board, and the top is secured with two small metal clips. As you can imagine, when a child climbs the bed they pull quite hard on the ladder. Within a week one of the clips had become loose and hung unsecured (see picture). I couldn't tighten it because the wood was stripped out. Without this clip the ladder pulls away from the bed a bit, held by the other clip. Without either clip the ladder is only held in place by the fork which is a very weak connection. I'm replacing the bed clips with better clips that secure on both the top and the bottom. If it weren't for the ladder issue I would recommend this bed, and I hope the company considers a redesign.

I took a long time searching for a bunk bed. I bought this in white with the trundle as an add in. It is extremely well made and I love that it's solid maple not compressed wood. It's straight lines fit in well with my modern style home. Definitely worth the price tag.

Absolutely love this bund bed, it's beautiful and very well crafted! The delivery and set up was painless and perfect too. I love that the ladder can be positioned in different places too. A great investment overall! #sweepstakes

We bought this bed for our 6 (top bunk) and 4 year old. We bought the low bunk, and it's perfect because we don't have to worry about our little one falling out of the bottom bunk. There could be more space between the beds, but it's enough for now and feels very cosy in the lower bunk. Also, the upper bunk is low enough that I can change the sheets easily, give hugs goodnight without having to climb the ladder, and don't have to worry about my 6 year old falling from such a high spot. Also, the bed is so sturdy and well-made and the delivery service was excellent.
